JANETTE HIMMANEN

Janette is a versatile dancer from Vantaa with a strong background in various street dance styles, especially hip hop freestyle.

During 2024–2025, Janette studied in Sweden at Åsa Folkhögskola’s 5 Styles program, where she deepened her expertise in house dance. After returning to Finland, she has continued to actively develop her skills in the style. She has also completed dance studies at the Akani dance program in Porvoo and will graduate as a physiotherapist in 2026. As a result, her classes place special emphasis on topics such as the importance of a proper warm-up.

For Janette, community and having fun are at the heart of dance. In her teaching, she strives to create a supportive and safe environment where everyone can learn, grow, and enjoy the process together.
