DANIELA WIKSTEN

Daniela Wiksten is a dancer from Helsinki who graduated from the dance program at Sibelius Upper Secondary School in spring 2025. She has been dancing her whole life, starting at the age of four, and has competed in both show dance and hip hop. Daniela also has experience in ballet, jazz, and other street dance styles.

Most recently, K-pop has become part of her repertoire – a style she has been involved with for around ten years. What began as a personal interest has later evolved into competitive performances with her group.

For Daniela, the most important aspects of dance are positive energy and self-expression. In her classes, she strives to create an environment where every dancer can safely be themselves – and feel free to make mistakes. Students are welcome just as they are and with whatever mood they bring. In Daniela’s K-pop classes, participants dive into learning choreography while also exploring how to infuse it with their own personal style.
