ELLI HUHTINEN

Elli Huhtinen is a Helsinki based member of the hip hop culture.

Elli started with street dances 2015 with locking as her first style quickly expanding to other street style dances. The street dancing world felt right at home and immediately became a strong part of her life.

At Autumn 2022 the fire for these dance styles led Elli to study at Åsa folkhögskolan in Sweden, where she dived deeper in hip hop culture. Elli took part in the five styles program, which includes studies in hip hop, breiking, locking, popping and house. Now when she’s back from finishing her studies her fire to the dance is stronger than ever. She waits eagerly to getting to share the things she has learned.

At Elli’s classes creating a safe environment is one of the most imortant things, so one can experiment with new things and challenge oneself. It is very important for Elli to to encourage one to find one’s own expression and work on it further.
